In which I record my fumbling attempts to make things grow in my yard.
It's squirrels. I've given up chasing them off my bird feeder - they spill more seed jumping off it, and jump right back on 30 seconds after I go inside. I sprayed the area with cat repellent ('cause that's what I had on hand), and it did nothing. You cannot win against the squirrels.
